The CWU greatly encourages care providers to voluntarily recognise the CWU for the purposes of collective bargaining under the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992.
In short, the CWU is uniquely placed to work with and understand the viewpoints of care providers, not just care workers, through our existing links with the care sector (CCPA). The CWU is also committed to avoiding disruption and disputes in the care sector.
